Victor Moses has been ruled out of action for up to six
weeks with a thigh injury. The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Chelsea,
suffered the problem last weekend during Stroke’s 2-1 defeat at home to Burnley in the
Premier League.
“He has a significant thigh injury, which is likely to keep
him out for several weeks,” said assistant manager Mark Bowen, speaking to BBC
Radio Stoke.
“At the moment we’re deciding with Chelsea whether [Moses
will] go back and have the rehab there or stay with our team.”
Bowen however had some good news, as Marc Wilson is back in
training, after picking up a hamstring injury before the international break.
“Marc trained on Tuesday, albeit lightly, but he trained and
will have more intensive training later in the week and hopefully he’ll be
available at the weekend,” he also added.
