Hong Kong Protesters Dismantle Tents as Police Clearance Looms

Hong Kong’s tent city is getting dismantled, as pro-democracy protesters packed bags on the last day of their street occupation and gestured to banners promising to return.

With police pledging to clear the streets around the city’s government offices tomorrow, office workers packed the roads, snapping pictures of yellow umbrellas, posters demanding democracy and protesters eating out of lunchboxes. While tents still line the roads, some are getting taken down.
