RATTAWU Threatens Three-Day Warning Strike From Wednesday

THE Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), says it will embark on a three-day warning strike on Wednesday over the non implementation of weigh-in-allowance for its members.

The notice of strike was contained in a statement signed by the General Secretary of the union, Mr Henry Odugala, in Abuja.
It said that the refusal of government to implement the weigh-in-allowance since 2012 was on acceptable.

"We have discovered that government has no genuine interest in the welfare of workers in the sector. Therefore, we have notified them that we will begin a three-day warning strike on Wednesday.
