Why the Arsenal ‘fans’ who abused Arsene Wenger should hang their heads in shame

As an Arsenal fan, I thought seeing the horrific result against Stoke City at the weekend was bad enough.
But nothing could compare to the feelings I consequently suffered, as I saw the abuse Arsene Wenger got on social media from supporters of our great football club.

Let me first say that criticising the club, and the manager, is perfectly acceptable. I do it myself and spent a lot of time doing it this weekend after the poor result.
However, downright abuse is not acceptable in any many. No matter your current feelings towards Wenger, he is a legend at our football club.
Between 1996 and now, he took us to new heights and we achieved many great things. We reached the Champions League final for the first time in our long history, won the Premier League title having gone the whole season unbeaten and won numerous trophies.

Do not let this season erase what Wenger has done.
