Zinedine Zidane includes a host of La Liga stars in his current World XI

In an interview with Canal Plus France, Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has revealed his ideal footballing ‘World XI’ – one that of course, features a host of players from La Liga.

In front of former teammate Iker Casillas, the Frenchman went for a back four made up of three current Real Madrid defenders, as well as a surprise selection in Barcelona’s Dani Alves (considering his allegiances).
In midfield, Zidane opted for Real Madrid’s Croatian star Luka Modrić alongside the only Premiership player in his XI – Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.
And finally, in attack, the Bernabéu legend unsurprisingly selected La Liga’s two biggest stars in Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, and accompanied them with Karim Benzema and PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Zidane also selected 7 substitutes for his team that just failed to miss the cut, as follows: Manuel Neuer, Phillip Lahm, Paul Pogba, Raphaël Varane, Andrés Iniesta, Franck Ribery and Sergio Agüero.(insidespanishfootball.com).
