Today is National Baked Scallops Day!

March 12, 2014: National Baked Scallops Day heralds yet another food I’ve never consumed. Sure, I’ve had a scallop or two, but never baked with the breading. Plant a Flower Day is for those of you who have the green thumbs. For the rest of us, I suppose we could expand it to Plant an Artificial Flower Day.

Today is World Kidney Day!

World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
